It turns out the New Yorker isn’t just a magazine, it’s a festival too.
The New Yorker Festival, held on the first weekend of October, explores just about everything that’s going on in the world, from pop culture to social issues and politics. You can buy tickets to single events across the 3 days, opting in to hear a panel discussion, watch a film, hear a poetry reading – the list goes on.
To put some context around how great it is, last year’s event boasted the infamous Arrested Development reunion. No biggie. This year’s timetable nonchalantly throws out an eclectic mix of names like Patti Smith, Christian Louboutin, Ben Stiller and Vampire Weekend.
Only in New York. *Sigh
