New Zealand: Loving Thy Neighbour.

Karen Walker, Fat Freddy’s Drop and a whole lot of sheep.

Until recently, that’s about the sum of all credit I’d given to the long white cloud to the east. Just a littler version of us with a few less things to see and a few less stars on their flag. But after a recent trip across the Tasman to play Art Director for a Contiki photo shoot, my opinion was quashed.

Our team of 7 road tripped from Auckland to Rotorua then up to the Bay of Islands. We stopped at gushing waterfalls and sleepy towns, shot on busy footpath flowerbeds and chased the sun through never-ending farmland. We braved all the adrenaline junkie fun times of the countryside and indulged in all the glitz and taste-bud delights of the city. Days felt like weeks and the crew felt like family.

Here are a few of my test shots & behind the scenes captures. If you haven’t done so already, please visit New Zealand.
